Plant Medicine and Nature Connection
IMG_0683.jpg

I qualified as a Community Herbalist in 2019 at the Plant Medicine School in Ireland and am in my final years study as a Medicinal Herbalist.

I have been working deeply with plants through mediative and art practices alongside my training especially with local plants during the pandemic.

Combining herbalism and bodywork is a rich and rewarding way to work with people. I am keen to assist people in finding their own relationships with both their inner landscape and the rich ecologies of life around us which support and inspire.

I am now developing and offering new sessions including;

Affordable Supervised Herbal medicine

Plant Meditation (group and individual)

Plant Walks

The Mugwort Dream Bed

Also in the pipe line are art and nature sessions and walks suitable for the curious.

I have always found great solace and happiness in nature for as long as I can remember.

After studying Geography BSc (Hons) learning about ecologies, patterns of the land and people, I developed an art practice and these two strands and passions continue to intertwine.

Alongside these artworkings I kept one foot in the earth sciences applying them in the urban environment through permaculture, local food growing, forest gardens, and projects seeking to enhance people's connection with nature, endeavouring to promote greater understanding, wellbeing and value.

I love getting to know our plants, fungi, trees and herbs, the folklore, medicine, science and ritual associated with them, our connection to the land and roots here.

i am happy now to deepen this knowledge and to share this in creative, useful and delicious ways with people through medicines and recipes, teas, meditations, walks, workshops, lotions, potions and tales.
